Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2014 was on 10th May in Karachi at Expo Pakistan. The second act of day 2 showcased designers as, Power House of Fashion, Yasmin Zaman (Click here for Yasmin Zaman Collection) and Faraz Manan (Click here for Faraz Manan Collection). Yasmin Zaman’ collection was an inspiration from the Mughal Art, it had motifs and patterns derived from that era and were very visual in the attire. There was much of a modern touch to it instead of traditional wedding. Bright colors like orange and yellow has made outfits different from the regular lot. Although, it had the traditional reds in it, which signified the evolution of dress sense in the sub-continent. Every outfit was treated with aari, zardozi, kamdani, melded with in-house hand-printing to reflect the demands of our traditional and modern demands.
